This is by far my favorite destination in Malindi! I know you’re probably sick of historical sites by now, but you’ll enjoy this one. The Portuguese built this tower 600 years ago. As you can see, it has seen better days. Vasco da Gama, a Portuguese explorer, built it as a gesture of gratitude to the Sultan of Malindi for all the provisions he had supplied for him and his entourage during his stay to the region.
Visit Watamu Beach.
Visiting Watamu Beach is one of the nicest things to do. The beach is well-known for its stunning white sand and turquoise waves. Swimming, sunbathing, windsurfing, and other activities abound.
