The world’s only wildlife capital is the Nairobi National Park. A short drive from Nairobi Central District Business center. Wide-open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Visitors can enjoy the park’s picnic sites, three campsites, and the walking trails for hikers.
It opens at 6 am and closes at 6 pm. During a game drive, you gain insights into this park’s rich history as you engage in up-close encounters with the wildlife in an open game viewing land cruisers or tour vans. Silver and gold-certified driver guides will share with you intimate details of the vast flora and fauna of this park, so I highly recommend that you opt to use tour vehicles and qualified driver guides.
On this day, we celebrated Pendo’s birthday, its good thing to celebrate her in style at the parks highest point overlooking the plains filled with Impalas hence its name Impala sanctuary.
Afterwards you enjoy an enroute game drive as you head out of the park.
• Park entry fee is paid at the park’s entry gate.
